When your stock 5mm x 8mm bushings have worn out and your
equally small bearings keep blowing up, RPM oversized bearing
carriers are there to save you. These carriers allow the use
of massive 5mm x 11mm bearings (the same used in stock nitro
Rustler / Stampede trucks) to be installed on your E-version.
Improved performance, less rolling resistance and less
maintenance are all characteristics you can expect from these
carriers and larger bearings.
Tech Note: 5 x 11mm. Bearings are not included with these kits
(4 bearings are needed for each kit). VXL & Slash owners: Your

Models
What you are looking at is a Traxxas Electric Rustler
transmission with a new spur gear drive adapter. This aluminum
part mounts on the 5mm drive shaft coming out of the
transmission. With a new 2mm spring drive pin and 2 set
screws. It is simple to install just remove the stock spur
gear and torque slipper parts off the transmission shaft,
replace the new spring drive pin. Slide the slipper eliminator
on the shaft align the slots with drive pin and lock down the
two setscrews. Then you mount any Kimbrough gear on the model.
And get the correct gear ratio, This drive unit should only be
used in drag racing or racing in general.

Traxxas Teflon slipper pad kit
In the picture above this kit will replace the stock slipper drive
with the new Teflon hubs, Teflon hex pads and a 84T Kimbrough gear
also come with spring 2 5-40 lock nuts. The topshaft comes in the
kit and you will replace it with the stock one. You resemble your
tranny place the hub on the inside shaft. Then you will lay the
Teflon pad on each side of the gear. The top shaft has machined
flats to key the hub. Then you place the spring and adjust the
lock nut till the vehicle slipper slips just enough for your
liking. With this kit you can use any Kimbrough gear made for the
Team Associated B4 T4 SC10 or you use the Associated brand spur
gear. This 84T spur gear can be replaced with other spur gear we
have in stock. I have 78T 81T 84T 87T to be use with this kit. |

Receiver mounting kit. |
In the kit you get the bottom base plate
that will fasten in you chassis. With double side tape and you get the
top tray that you mount either your speed control or receiver. Before
mounting you will want to clean both surfaces then peal the backing off
of the double sided tape and place the base with the threaded fasteners
on your chassis. And fasten the your radio Equipment to the removable
tray. then install the tray with the 4-40 pan head screws to the base.
This was design so you could remove the radio with out any damaged to
the equipment, Or you can buy a second base and use the same speed
control and receiver in a second car. The Pictures at the top show a
Mamba brushless speed control and airtronics receiver mounted to the
trays. |
