SCDs 10 .71 Shock Dampener set |
The shock kit
comes with associated standard threaded body fronts made for the
b4. We changed to the .71 shaft to use this shock on the Nitro
vehicles. Like our Nitro Rustler SRP1700 truck kit and the SRP1701
EDM kit SRP1702 Electric Rustler kit, SRP1311 truck kit SRP1312
EDM kit associated gt And can be used on some of the rear
conversion kits. Like the SRP1800 bandit SRP2000 xxx late model
kit The parts are used are OEM from Associated so replacement
parts are easy to obtain else ware. In the packaged you get enough
parts to build two complete shocks. We also have the SCDs 200
spring sets that come 9 pairs to a set to fit these shocks. |

Spring set is design for the B4 B4.1 .89 shock bodies or can
be used on the Custom Works long shocks. The springs have a

How they work: RPM shock pistons work better than any other RIC
shock piston
Because they allow the shock to return to its static ride height
at a much faster rate than do stock pistons. Our shock pistons act
as miniature check valves (one way valves) that work
instantaneously as the direction of the flow of oil through the
piston changes. Consider all of the things that cause a shock to
compress versus what causes it to rebound: With all R/C shocks,
the shock spring is the only thing that returns the shock to
normal, static height. Up until the invention of the RPM Two Stage
Shock Pistons, suspension set-up has always been a compromise. If
the vehicle were set-up for the big jumps, it usually wouldn't
handle as well over the small stuff (suspension too stiff &
bouncy), likewise, if the vehicle is set-up for the smaller stuff,
the vehicle would usually bottoms out over the jumps (suspension
too soft). RPM pistons allow normal dampening during the
compression of the shock and increased oil flow on the rebound
stroke for a quicker recovery with a normal, soft spring. This
allows the suspension to stay planted and not over-compress or
bounce. Regardless of piston choice, 30 - 4Owt. Oil is the best
starting point. A variation in excess of 10 wt. Either up or down
should be met with a piston change (next lighter dampening piston
or next heavier dampening piston) to return your settings back to
the 30 - 40 wt. Range. |

they are made for team Associated shocks B2 B3 T3 B4 T4 SC10 GT
GT2 TC3 vehicles. These o-rings are not the same as the oem
associated uses they are made I little smaller on the ID of the
hole and tend to seal better around the shock shaft. |
