Systems CCSLLM3 1/18 Losi front stub kit |
Comes with a bottom carbon fiber
front chassis plate, Aluminum mounting suspension uprights,
carbon-fiber front shock tower, carbon fiber camber link mounting
bracket, carbon fiber shock a-arm mounts, Front bumper and body
post and rest. Comes with the mounting hardware You will need to
purchase another set LOSB1041 suspension pin bag. You need the
rear inner suspension pins to mount the front a-arms on this kit.
This kit will change a Losi Mini slider, mini late model or Mini T
into a Custom Chassis Systems front end.

model dirt oval car. The car kit was built from Custom Chassis
Systems he uses all carbon fiber for his chassis. In the
pictures the car was design so you can mount your stock receiver
and speed control, servo. The chassis is design so you can run
your 6 cell NiCad or the new lipo batteries. This kit you can
mount the battery down the center of the car or you can off set
the battery to the left using the battery tray. This kit is
also design so you can move the battery weight forward up to 1/4
inch on the battery tray and up to 2 inches on the chassis.

Associated XXX Oval
conversion Kit |
This kit was designed to give
the Losi Late Model some competition. It is a 2 wheel drive car
with the same wheel base as the Losi. The front end is highlighted
with 15 degree aluminum kickups that eliminate the sloppy stock
front end. It uses all the stock arms and bearings. This kit
allows you to use all of the power and speed you get from a
brushless motor.
CCS RC18-XXX kit come with 1 piece full length chassis, 2 aluminum
front suspension mounts, 1 front carbon fiber shock tower, front
bumper, fully adjustable slider battery tray, 1rear aluminum
suspension pin mount. 1 aluminum support bearing mount |

New CCS LLM2xxx Slider Chassis
To finish this kit you will need
a losi mini T or a mini late model, I used a mini slider for
my conversion. You will need a good set of oil filed shocks. I
used Associated rc18 t shocks front and rears. Part numbers
ASC #21216 FT Alum front shock ASC #21217 FT Alum rear shock.
I also bought new LOSB1299 rebuild kit I need new bottom shock
eyelets because the threads are different. You will also need
associated 18t ball studs the part number is ASC #21082 for
the shocks to mount in the towers. I did have to drill out
larger holes for the ball studs. Because the associated are a
larger thread size. You will also need the LOSB1041suspension
pin bag you will use the two rear inner hinge pins for the
front to mount the A-arms. Note this kit was design to use the
stock shock length and you can use the losi updated alum
shocks. I choose to use what I have and sell and like the
associated shock better than the losi shocks. Also in the
pictures I assembled the kit in stages so you could see how
easy the kit goes together.

ASC Servo Mounts with screws
The servo mount in the picture are what we use to mount a mini
servo in the CCS car kits This helps to get the unwanted play out
of you steering. I use a kimbrough servo saver drill two holes
with a .040 drill bit I used the second row hole from the top to
place my servo ball-stud so they are align with the ball-stud on
the steering arm Because the servo spline id offset you will want
to mount the servo as far to the left like in the above photo. |
